CX Qualtrics Transcript and Video URL Integration

Step 1: Getting started

There are a couple things Voxpopme will need to setup the transcript and video URL integration. Ensure you are a ‘Brand Administrator’ in your Qualtrics account. You will need this level of access to make the necessary changes and access the below information we will need.

• API Key
• Anonymous Link (Survey Link)*

*You can find the anonymous link by clicking ‘Distributions in the top menu. 

Step 2: Adding embedded data

Within your survey you will need to add two embedded data fields so the API can call those fields. From the top menu click ‘Survey Flow’ and click ‘Add Below’ on the ‘Solution Embedded Data’ option. This will show a list of options, click ‘Embedded Data’ from the list to create these fields.

Now you will need to add two fields. In the first box type ‘Transcript’ and press enter/return. A new box will appear, in this second box type ‘Video’. It is important you type these exactly as they appear here as the API will use these labels to pass information from Voxpopme into Qualtrics.

From here you will need to make the ‘Transcript’ available for analysis in Qualtrics TextIQ function. Click on ‘Options’ in the bottom right of the box. Ensure the ‘Variable Type’ for the Transcript field is set to ‘Text’. Next, check the ‘Analyze Text’ box to the right. This will allow the Transcript field to be selected from within TextIQ so these responses can be analyzed within Qualtrics.

Once you are finished click ‘Save Flow’ at the bottom right of the screen and your survey is now ready for the API integration. After you share the API key and the Anonymous Survey Link with Voxpopme, we will reach out to you for testing after the setup has been completed to ensure everything is working exactly as expected.
