Overview
How to use Voxpopme Recorder
With a simple invite, Voxpopme Recorder joins your online meetings, interviews, and focus groups to record your conversations with consumers. Once it has joined your online meeting, it will record both the audio and visual of the session from start to finish.
The recording will then be automatically uploaded to your Voxpopme account for you to review and analyze in the same way you do with all the other videos you have in Voxpopme. So you can wave goodbye to clunky video files cluttering your laptop.
Adding Voxpopme Recorder to your meeting
Adding Voxpopme Recorder to your meeting is super simple, just go to your calendar and add the email address recorder@voxpopme.com to your meeting invite in the same way you would add any other invitee. We recommend doing this when you first schedule your interview.
You’ll get an email to confirm that Voxpopme Recorder has been added to your meeting.
Once you join your meeting, Voxpopme Recorder will ask to be admitted to the meeting. Simply hit Admit once you are ready to go and the bot will do the recording so you don’t forget and risk losing precious qualitative data.
Reviewing your recording
Once your meeting has finished, the Voxpopme Recorder bot will leave and the content of your meeting will be auto-uploaded to Voxpopme for transcription and automated analysis.
You’ll find the video and transcription in your list of Live Interviews in Voxpopme and the meeting organizer will get an email letting them know it's ready to review.
From the Voxpopme platform, you can interact with and analyze the recording in the same way you do with other responses and use automated analytics to find insights faster.

Troubleshooting
I accidentally denied access for the Voxpopme Recorder to my meeting, how can I get it back?
Unfortunately, once denied you won’t be able to add it back for that meeting. You’ll need to reschedule the meeting for at least 15 mins in the future and add Voxpopme Recorder back in. But all is not lost. In this scenario, we recommend recording your meeting using Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other platform and import or upload your video to Voxpopme manually afterwards.
I need to move my meeting, will the Voxpopme Recorder move with it?
Yes it will, but if you move the meeting earlier then please make sure it’s at least 15 minutes from the current time so to allow time for the Voxpopme Recorder bot to be updated.
I forgot to add the Voxpopme Recorder to my meeting, can I add it once it has already started?
It can take up to 15 minutes to request a Voxpopme Recorder bot to join your meeting, so you may find it will miss the start of your meeting. To guarantee that it joins on time you need to ensure its added at least 15 minutes before your meeting. But if you do forget, we recommend recording your meeting using Zoom, Teams, Meet or any other platform and import or upload your video to Voxpopme manually afterwards.
I’ve received an email saying that Action is required as my email address isn’t recognised as a Voxpopme user - what do I need to do?
You’ve received that email because as the organiser of the meeting we don’t recognise your email address as a Voxpopme user. If you contact our support team at support@voxpopme.com they will be able to move the match up which Voxpopme account the recording should go in to.
If you do have a Voxpopme account then please make sure you use that email address to set up the meeting from.
Can I add Voxpopme Recorder to a meeting with non English speakers?
Not currently, the meetings have to be in English as we don’t currently translate these meetings
What if a participant doesn’t want the Voxpopme Recorder to record the session?
As with any meeting/interview recordings it’s important to ensure you ask for consent to record them.
If anyone is not comfortable then you will need to deny access to the Voxpopme Recorder and will be unable to capture and analyse the outputs.
What additional steps do I need to take if my meeting is hosted by Zoom?
