Cashing out your earnings - FAQ's

  1. How do I cash out my earnings?

Once your account balance has reached a minimum cash out mark, you can cash out into your own bank account through PayPal. 

If you haven’t verified your email address yet you will need to do so before you can request a cash out. To verify your email address follow these simple steps:

• Open the app and head to the ‘wallet’ tab
• Click on the link at the bottom of the page to verify your email address

• This will send an email to the address you registered with on our app. Follow the instructions in the email to verify your email address.

You can then request your cash out by clicking the large ‘PayPal’ button that will now be at the bottom of the page on the ‘wallet’ tab. If you have already verified your email address, simply head to the ‘wallet’ tab, select the PayPal button and log in to your desired PayPal account to confirm the request.  The app will send payment to this PayPal account. Payment will appear within 72 hours, or if you have already cashed out this may be within an hour.

  2. What if I don’t have a PayPal account?

No problem. Simply verify your email address in our app and set up a PayPal account you want the money paid into. Once you have a PayPal account click the cash out button in the ‘wallet’ tab of our app and login to confirm the request.  Within 72 hours of pressing the cash out button you will receive an email from PayPal telling you that Voxpopme Ltd has sent you a payment. There will be an option to  "Claim your money now".  Clicking on this will take you through to the PayPal website where you can Log In or Sign Up. All you need to do is sign up for a new account. Once you have created your account the money will be waiting for you. 

  3. I have set up a new PayPal account but my Influence earnings aren't in it

Did you press the cash out button in the app? Have you waited 72 hours to receive your payment? If you are sure you have pressed the cash out button and waited 72 hours then send an email to influence@voxpopme.com and we will check out what's happening with your payment for you.

  4. Can I send payment to another PayPal account?

When you cash out you can select the PayPal account you wish to pay into. We would recommend using only one account to ensure swift payments. Multiple PayPal accounts will be flagged for your security and could increase the time for payment. In the same way, duplicate PayPal accounts used across our influence accounts will be flagged for investigation and risk possible delays or denial of your cash out request.

  5. How long will it take for me to receive payment after I have pressed the cash out button?

We will pay your earnings into your PayPal account within 72 hours of receiving your cash out request, this can be much quicker if you have cashed out once.  You will receive a confirmation email from us letting you know that we have received your cash out request. Once your earnings from Influence are in your PayPal account you will receive an email from PayPal to let you know. All you need to do is transfer the money into your own bank account (it’s down to your bank how long this takes - for some it could be a matter of minutes, for others it could be days).

  6. Can I change my email address within the app?

Unless there is a typo and you can't verify you should not need to edit your email address. Your Paypal email address can be different to your app email address.

If you don’t have access to your app email address and therefore you can’t verify it, please let us know and we will send you the next steps to take. This will include confirming the email address you would like to change to and recording a video to confirm the change. This can then take a couple of days to schedule this change with our technical teams.

  7. Do I have to pay Income Tax on my earnings from Influence?

Our terms and conditions state that this is your responsibility to investigate and action.
