Steps to resolve common Facebook login errors on the Influence app.

⚠️ "An error occurred whilst logging in to Facebook. Please check your internet connection and try again."
If you're seeing this error and your internet connection is working fine, it's likely that the app couldn't log you in because it still has your old user details from Facebook. This commonly happens when people change their Facebook password.
💡 The login failure doesn't always happen at the same time you change your Facebook password. The Influence app may have cached your old login details, and the error can suddenly appear when the cache clears itself — sometimes days later.
Which type of Facebook installation do you have?
There are three possible ways Facebook may be installed on your iPhone:
✓ Native iOS integration — your Facebook account is shown under your iPhone Settings
✓ Facebook app login — no Facebook account in Settings, but the Facebook app is installed
✓ Browser-based login — no Facebook account in Settings and the Facebook app is not installed
You may not know which installation you have, but the most common is Native iOS integration. To check, go to Settings — if you see Facebook listed, you have a native integration.
Fix: Native iOS integration
If you have a native Facebook account configured, you'll need to remove and reinstall your account details. When you changed your Facebook password, the native Facebook token may not have updated, meaning your old password is still in place.
✓ Go to Settings and click into Facebook
✓ Select your name, then press the red Delete Account button
✓ Confirm that you want to Remove Facebook Info
✓ Re-enter your Facebook username and new password to reactivate
✓ Try logging into Influence again — it should now work
💡 Please note: this does not delete Facebook from your phone — it simply removes your saved login info.
Fix: Facebook app or browser-based login
If you don't have Native iOS Facebook integration, you may be using the Facebook app or browser-based login instead. In this case:
✓ Open the Facebook app or browser and log in with your new password
✓ This should refresh your token
✓ You should then be able to log into Influence again
