At various steps in a project's lifecycle, company admins can edit and add elements to your video survey. Edit capability is dependent on which stage your project is in: pending (pre-launch), active (in-field) or completed. Learn more about project stages here.
How do I edit a project?
Click on the project you wish to edit and navigate to the “Projects Details” tab shown below.
From there you should see a pencil icon at the top right of each panel.
Click on the pencil icon to activate the edit state for a panel. You will notice that the panel above in our example changes to the one below. At the top right of the panel you will now see a label stating you are in an editing mode.
To exit out of editing mode you can click on the button “cancel” or “finish editing”. To save the changes click on 'Finish Editing'.
What can I Edit?
The following information will be editable at any stage of a project's life cycle.
-
Project Name
-
Background
-
Objectives
-
Start/End Date/Time
Pending (Pre-launch):
Pending means your project has not been approved yet.
-
Response usage: This cannot be updated once project responses start to be collected.
-
Demographic targeting: If no targeting has been set or you wish to edit what you have already set you can do this in a pending state. i.e updating to target just females from targeting both males and females.
-
Custom quotas: You can update the percentages in each quota cell that has been previously created. Please note that all quota cells must add up to 100%.
-
Stimuli: You can add, remove, or update.
-
Sample size: You can increase or decrease the sample size but you cannot go below 5.
-
Target Market: You can add in a new target market but you cannot remove any. So if you update this section please be aware that you cannot undo the change once saved. It is also worth noting that you cannot change between using 'your own audience' and the 'Voxpopme audience'.
- Screener questions: You can add, update and delete screeners in a pending state. If these are used in any custom quotas you have set this may effect them. If this is the case our system will let you know your action will effect your custom quotas and if you proceed the effected quota will be disabled. If a custom quota is disabled you will be provided with the option to create a new custom quota, fall back to 'Natural fallout' or fall back to 'Equal split of age and gender'.
-
Additional quant questions: You can add, edit or remove additional quant questions and answers.
-
Targets fall: You can update how you want your responses to be split selecting either natural fallout (first come, first served), Equal split of age and gender or create your own custom split of your responses (based on demographic information and screener questions).
-
Video questions: You can add, edit or remove video questions while a project is in a 'Pending' or 'Scheduled' state.
