For Embed projects, you can request access to Voxpopme's facial blurring capabilities. To request access, contact support@voxpopme.com or your Voxpopme CSM. We recommend this feature only for projects that require facial data to be excluded, as it may take away from the insights you can gather from your video survey.
FAQs
Is facial blurring secure?
Facial blurring is not done within the Voxpopme system. A un-blurred version of the response will not be saved in your project. To ensure a high level of personal information security, users are unable to 'toggle' facial blurring on and off.
What happens if the system cannot detect a face?
If a face is undetectable in a respondent's response, the entire video will be blurred.
Does this impact processing time?
Yes. The processing time for the blurred videos will at least be double the existing processing time.
Are respondents made aware their faces will be blurred?
If you are running a project with facial blurring, we recommend you inform the respondent within the survey, the capture widget will not inform the user that their video is going to be blurred.
